Wish of the customer. The interior was created for the most prestigious restaurant of Ternopol. The basic wishes concerned functionality: to increase quantity of seats, having added thus to everyone intimacy and cosiness; to make one more additional hall at the expense of subsidiary premises. Also owners have wished to leave colourful stained-glass windows of windows with the image of grapevines and to keep a classical orientation of an interior, to create atmosphere of heart of Europe.
Re-planning. Changes in a restaurant lay-out concerned only its expansions. The wall at which in an initial premise the long bar counter settled down, has got two arch apertures, leaders in a new hall, and a decorative fireplace with a mirror between them. And the bar counter has decreased and has moved in a corner.
To separate a zone of each little table, to give it easy intimacy, openwork wooden partitions with fixtures are made. Thus zones of sofas of chocolate color are arranged on podiums, and cream – on soft carpets.
The stylistic decision. Halls are issued in style of warm European classics. On walls – panels from a dark tree, velvety chocolate painting, a figured fabric.
Carved openwork frames round windows, the surfaces, rich invoices, pictures with kinds of old European cities, cozy softness of sofas, a cream ceiling with a stucco molding, gold elements, mirror panels, a cool of marble and warmth of a fireplace – here those pleasant to an eye of a detail which give rise to this rather hospitable, refined and cozy European restaurant.
