I can't be more excited about this... in conjunction with the ever-fabulous & trend-establishing New York fashion week, the color gurus at PANTONE announced their color picks for the coming year. Ringing in first place is PANTONE 18-2120 TCX: Honeysuckle. For me this hue brings to mind the fantastic, strapless Dior gown Cameron Diaz wore to the Met Ball a few seasons back. (to die!) I just love pink! Pink in any hue... But what makes Honeysuckle so interesting is its rich-red, base color that exudes warmth & energy. It is the grown up version of hot pink and it's warmth makes it the perfect partner to almost any color. Use it in a great IKAT print, as an accent wall, a side chair, chandelier or in fresh blooms bursting from a centerpiece. These small flourishes will add vibrancy, confidence and that extra something special to just about any room. Yeah!
