Having lived in New York for so long I understand what it is like to be a renter yet want to create a real home out of the space you dwell within. The key is to transform your space by looking at it as special and using what you have wisely. I like to play with color, highlight any beautiful moldings or architectural details, use pieces that can multi-task while maintaining their style and accent rooms with scaled-down flourishes that make grand statements.
