{inspiration} Take a Seating Moment

A great seating moment is the perfect pause in a room. It provides a moment of rest for the eye as well as the body. Treat it with love and give some thought to what accessories can enhance it's narrative. Try mixing high and low elements like metal and wood or soft flowers against angular shapes. A stack of books with an hourglass to count the time... You get the idea. And if you do it just right, even the smallest corner can sparkle!

{idea notebook} White

Ah.... we all know that I love white. White rooms, white furniture, white tablescapes, white flowers, white linens, white, white, white. So, today I thought that it would be fitting to pay homage to this love.

To me white is blissfully romantic layered and folded onto itself. That is my kind of white; White where shades mix together to create fullness of body and warmth within a space. But white can also be graphic and stark, preppy and clean. There are endless possibilities, timeless possibilities. Above I have featured images that inspire my work and products I love to use within it. I think they are just perfect.
Enjoy!

{product+love} Graham and Green

Across the pond there is a lovely company call Graham and Green. They opened their doors in 1974 but are as relevant today as anything I have come across. With a style that oozes with glamor, quirk and global appeal they add that extra special something to any room. I simply adore the pink mercury lamp and the black & bone inlay ram's head chair. A contemporary mix of old and new- which I personally think is simply fantastic. And if you are not in the market for furniture or lighting they also carry a deep selection of mirrors, home accents, kitchen wear & kids decor. Why not bring a bit of Parisian flair or Moroccan chic into your life via our friends from the UK? Now that's global!
