{products+love} A Cheery Collection from H&M Home

I am once again turning to Home Shopping Spy, one of my absolute favorite home sources, to bring you this week's product info: Seems the folks over at H&M Home have released another collection of festive home accessories full of crisp, cheery, very All-American influenced designs ( just perfect for summer accessorizing). I am loving the black cutlery silhouette tea towel and the white "self-labeled" table cloths and runners (very tongue & cheek and helpful at the same time). Also great are the nautical stripes and Mediterranean-influenced painterly pillows. Can't you just see them spilling out of a hammock with on a warm, sunny day... Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

{idea notebook} White

Ah.... we all know that I love white. White rooms, white furniture, white tablescapes, white flowers, white linens, white, white, white. So, today I thought that it would be fitting to pay homage to this love.

To me white is blissfully romantic layered and folded onto itself. That is my kind of white; White where shades mix together to create fullness of body and warmth within a space. But white can also be graphic and stark, preppy and clean. There are endless possibilities, timeless possibilities. Above I have featured images that inspire my work and products I love to use within it. I think they are just perfect.
Enjoy!

{products+love} Life Alfresco

Happy Friday everyone! Today I wanted to take a moment and celebrate summertime & life alfresco style. For some of us we only get a few, glorious months each year to savor a meal outside so why not do it up in style? The fabulously fun Pink Colette Tablecloth (by Sis Boom), seen above, features a ruffled hem and springtime birds in crisp white and electric pink. It couldn't be more lovely or effortlessly timeless and from where I sit, it's the perfect accessory for a summertime celebration. Eat, drink and be languidly merry!

{products+love} Scents & Feel

Designer Jenny Haik founded Scents & Feel to share the beauty and traditions of her native Tunisia with the world. With her signature Fouta towels she has recreated the Hammam-style towel, traditionally used in Turkish baths, and given us an elegant alternative to everyday terry towels. They are as lovely on a bed, table or sofa as they are on the beach. I would even throw one around me on a breezy summer evening. They are simply effortless.

Serena Dugan is a textile designer and artist who met Lily Kanter, a savvy baby boutique owner, and together formed Serena & Lily; a company who is dedicated to creating children’s spaces that are fresh and style-driven, with dynamic color and pattern. Their collections have expanded to 14 bedding sets, 30 original fabric patterns and now furniture and furnishings for tall people as well as the younglings. Navy Spade: Inspired by Italian tile work, this fabric's navy and white color contrast creates a strong graphic statement.

Citrus Pebble: Alternating citrine and aqua spots make this design both playful and simple.

Air/Chocolate Diamond: A smart geometric pattern in chambray and chocolate.

Go Ahead & Dwell

Lately I am feeling the need to wrap myself in swaths of gorgeous fabric. My current favorite remedy does not come with zippers or buttons, rather it comes in fitted and flat.

DwellStudio was born as Dwell Home Furnishings, in 1999. A textile company that offers vibrant, adventurous and modern textile designs; encompassing everything from bedding to tabletop to baby and kids accessories. Through their sophisticated use of color, print and pattern they push aesthetic boundaries to a place other companies might shy away from. It is this willingness to dare that makes them special and wonderfully unique in the home market.
