{inspiration} a fond farewell to summer part 2

I am loving Beach Bungalow.... to me it feels timeless, like coming home. I love how it is quietly weathered by the shining sun and salty sea air. Its beauty filled with an eclectic mix of worn woods and chipping white paint, blues, yellow and fabulous lilac... nautical stripes and unfussy prints. Fresh flowers in old pitchers... it is always fashionable to wear your swim suit here and walk in your bare feet to the evening meal. Here is to summer... her bungalows of rainbow colors by the sand and to her gloriously warm days gone by.

{inspiration} An Americana Celebration

I love classic Americana. So here's to red, white and blue with a grand touch of stars and stripes. I love vintage objects and rustic furniture. I love corner stores packed with found treasures... (loving how the buoy & retro stop light have reinvented themselves as art!) I love seeing what is classic through a modern light... and letting it shine again. I love American summers with life on the water and lobster dinners, crisp quilts and colorful oars. I love living in a place that still dreams the great dream.
