Thank You Mrs. Howard

Thank you to everyone who attended the SFERRA party at Mrs. Howard in Atlanta. And a HUGE thank you to Leah Kennelly for all of your help and to Phoebe and Jim Howard for hosting!

I have been a big fan of Jim and Phoebe’s phenomenal work for a several years, and seeing it in person is better than any photo. Both have become widely recognized in the design world, and their work is synonymous with inviting, yet sophisticated Southern style.

The three-story building that houses Mrs. Howard is designed to look like a home, with each room offering a distinct look. The attention to every single detail in each room is astounding. Mrs. Howard was the ideal location for the SFERRA Lose Count event—truly a perfect pairing. Phoebe’s bedrooms are sheer perfection—refined, tranquil, and always dreamy!

If you are in Atlanta, you must stop by and see for yourself. You can also, visit their other locations. Not only will you love Mrs. Howard the store, you will also love Phoebe. Her sense of humor and honesty are both fun and refreshing. You can see more photos on All the Best Portfolio.

Blogger + Designer Dinner in Atlanta

I will be in Atlanta for the next three days hosting several events on behalf of SFERRA. Last night we hosted a blogger/designer dinner at Craftbar in Atlanta. One word - YUM!

It was so much fun to meeting Jill Sharp Brinson, Holly of Things that Inspire, Niki of Yummy Scrumptious, Shameeka of The Broke Socialite, Brian Patrick Flynn of Decor Demon, Millie of Brilliant Asylum, Ally of From the Right Bank, Helen Young and Jane Douglas Reynolds of Whitehaven.

It's always a treat to meet the bloggers behind the blogs and the designers behind the name. This group did not disappoint! There was such an amazing energy and the conversation was fascinating. It was so interesting to hear about each person's creative endeavors. I, for one, was very inspired. And, if the company were not enough, the food was fantastic. Craftbar certainly lived up to its reputation. Again, thank you all for coming and sharing your energy. You can see more photos here.

PAK HEYDT & ASSOCIATES: Classic Stone Colonial Makes the Perfect Family Home in Atlanta

This beautiful home designed by Pak Heydt & Associates first came to our attention when it was featured in the November 2008 issue of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine.  Savannah interior designer Gwyn Duggan, who also worked on Paula Deen's home, collaborated on the project.  We've posted some photos below, however, you can read the entire article entitled, "New Traditions," by clicking here.
