{loving+colour} Strawberry Red

I have to admit that red walls scare me a bit, they can very easily go Gothic. But I am loving this strawberry red color paired with feminine floral, bits of green and white! It is absolutely beautiful and quite fresh. And although the palette from design seeds is more hot pink than red, the wonderful pairing of greens, whites and touches of black feels much the same. (p.s. Loving that the dressing room has just enough pink in it to make me swoon!) Have a happy week everyone! xo

{inspiration} With A Touch of Ruby

Hello there...I fell in love with these images recently and as I was thumbing though them again I realized that what they all had in common was a gorgeous balance of saturated ruby red, high gloss white, pops of vibrant color (like kelly green and robin's egg blue), touches of black and lots of lush flowers. It is such a pulled together, polished statement that still looks eclectic, modern and wonderfully interesting. I'm loving how unpredictable each space is... so full of life and colorful brilliance! {product+love} A Little Ming for Love and Luck

Okay, I have to admit that I am currently obsessing with ming red accents... love, love, love! I think they look just fabulous with, well, so many things but I adore them when paired with cobalt blue, robin's egg and yellow. It is absolutely my new favorite thing. So, if the world were a perfect place and I could start my first floor from scratch this is what it would be...
